Hi, nice video!
I am interested in this configuration for the 9520 model: i7 12700h, 3050Ti, 16gb RAM, 1TB SSD, FHD+ (1920x1200) display.
Does this incorporate a 6 cell battery (86 Wh)?
I am trying to understand whether the i7 12700H ALWAYS comes with a 6 cell battery or not. Surprisingly, on the Dell Italy website there is the 3 cell battery with that configuration, but in any other country it is a 6 cell. So it might be a mistake on the Italian website. As there is no customer/sales support in that country, I would like to be sure before making the purchase.
Thank you!

Why is no one talking about Dell's serious driver problems? XPS laptops missing features for years because of bad drivers. This is getting to the point that PC hardware reviewers really have zero believability; this is why people cry "shill."

4:20 "it also has a decent variety of ports" - only USB-C... 🤨🤥
In a 15", even Apple added a full size HDMI.

We've recently purchased two XPS 15's (2022) - and we love it!!! Gave my old XPS 13 to my niece - and she feels like a superstar!!! My other half gave hers to her nephew. There's *nothing* wrong with either of the XPS 13's, we just wanted to treat ourselves to a new laptop!

As for the posts re: poor support, I can only assume that they refer to US support.

Over the last 15 years, we've always bought Dell laptops, and have never had a problem with then, or with their support in the UK.

I have one of these (last year model) and while it is very compact, stable and sturdy, very modular (you can change many components inside with no effort, I have effortlessly upgraded RAM from 8GB to 32GB and SSD from 256GB to 1TB and saved tones of money), it has a couple of flaws:

- The webcam is the worst camera I have seen from any laptop or smartphone in the last 10 years. It's that bad. The reason is the thin bezel which forced this compromise on the lens and sensor. I simply use a DSLR behind the laptop as a webcam.

- The 4K TFT screen has a non-uniform backlight, probably again due to the thin bezels. On the left and right vertical edges the backlight is dimmer (due to the angle of light), the image is darker. I have exchanged my first screen under warranty (by the way, it took 5 minutes for the technician who came on site) but the replacement has exactly the same issue.

- Another small issue is with the USB-C charging. If you somehow tilt the laptop on that side while the charger is connected, bye bye USB-C port, it will break (I didn't do this, knock on wood !). Apple (latest models and the ones until like 3 years ago) and Microsoft have much better solutions with their magnetic charging sockets (but I had 3 Surface Pros and 2 Surface Laptops - all broke in very expensive ways - don't ever buy from a company who does not make a living from their hardware).

I have a Dell XPS 9570 (2018 model), bought in spring '19 for around 1000€ with many discounts. Never had any issues, a great laptop with the same performance he had at the beginning. The battery is starting to show its age, but still very good

I would like to ask you about this Xps 15 touch screen. I do digital painting using Photoshop so is it easy to use a pen with the screen for that, please?

You gotta love the new modern mindset of a 2000+$ machine is expected to last only "several" years. How is no one freaking out about this? If I pay over 1200$ I fully expect to be happily using this computer 4-5 years later with minimal issue.

13hours of battery life? How come my xps15 2022 (i7 12700H, 3050ti, 3.5k oled) only last for around 5 hours on youtube and Netflix at minimum brightness..

going through second dell xps 15 it had 7th gen cpus, first lasted about 4 years until my kid spilled water on it and it died. bought the 11th gen one few months ago. There is huge improvement to speakers, screen, aesthetics of device, but thermals got much worse (its possible this laptop performs worse than my old one due to constant throttling), computer has razor sharp corners which is very uncomfortable to rest your arms on, it gets scratched and damaged so easily, so i feel like build material is not as durable. also touchpad is quite buggy. 12th gen one is little better with thermals due to cpu architecture i assume. Dell can really make this a flawless laptop if they put a vapor chamber cooler and a proper webcam in this but they do nonsense stuff to save bucks
