Dr. Kara Fitzgerald is a functional medicine practioner who maintains a private practice in Sandy Hook, Connecticut and is on the faculty of the Institute of Functional medicine. She was the lead author of a paper recently published in Aging, Potential reversal of epigenetic age using a diet and lifestyle intervention: a pilot randomized clinical trial.

When doing research on methyl donors, I did see that high levels of B12 increase rates of all cause mortality. However, I have not found similar findings for Folate, B6 or TMG. Therefore, I supplement very little with B12, but go higher in Folate, B6 and TMG.

12 hours seems like such a big window. I do wonder if 16:8 or 20:4 are better.

Do we know what the volunteers were eating before hand too?
