To avoid the rotations I usually do d or d', I think that doing d and d' is fast and the lookahead is simple but this movement takes a soft regrip of fingers, which are on the back face

I also use "d" moves insert pairs rotationless, but only if i don't have to do U moves before or after. I think with practice it can be efficient. Also good video! I found a lot of the cases really useful :D

J perm, for the second case, I found this really helpful alg : U2 R U R' to pair them up and then F R' F' R to insert them using sledgehammer.
