Here's one I like better:
0:05 with the orientation the same as the one in the video, do a U', followed by a sledge hammer. This sets up for an easier F2L case (corner and edge seperated, with whitr corner facing up)

Case 2: Similar case to this video's one but the edge piece is at the back instead of on the left like in the video:
2 ways I like to do, my friends prefer the second, I prefer the first.
First way: U move followed by double sledge hammers, then standard insert.
Second way: U move followed a reverse sledge hammer to set up to an easier F2L case.

U F' U' L' U L U' F is what I've always used, I get f moves are generally really poor in F2L but this alg works well and fingertricks well for the moves.

I would personally do an M with my left index instead of r' as it is better for ZBLS

This contains wide moves.
If you don't mind doing wide moves, you could just do d, then do your old move, then d'.
