Yeah it doesn’t hurt at all it feels great honestly you’ve had these things putting pressure on your teeth for years so it feels like a release. I’m almost 3 years braces free and love it

Getting my braces off was the most painful part of the whole process. They were in fact ripping the brackets from my teeth!

(A little drill that gets the glue off! It’s cold and that makes it really painful for people with sensitive gums and/or teeth 😭)

I was in sooo much pain taking off the braces. The pressure of crashing brackets and the lower teeth were the worst 😭😭😭

getting my braces off was super painful, infact maybe that was the most painful thing of my whole braces journey, it was like my tooth would come off and the pain was too much and also some blood while removing the steel caps in the molars, it was painful indeed 🥺

I'll be honest, when I had braces, I would fall asleep while they did my tightenings and when they removed them. There was something about the repetitive motions to take the coloured bands off that just lulled me to sleep. They'd have to wake me up after they were done. Lmao

As someone who has braces these don’t actually hurt. I’m completely used to them now. The only part that hurt was putting them on. Mainly because I had at leave my mouth open for an hour because they were still getting prepared (I fell asleep)

My orthodontist was ruthless. My braces were aggressively ripped off and gone within less than 5 minutes. My gums were bleeding..Idk if that’s really bad 😂

Hey Bentist.... because of you, I'm no longer scared of getting braces. I have a canine that's stuck in my gum and still have a baby canine. They have to cut a hole in my gum and bring it down with a chain. My jaw is also...like...squished. my bottom teeth are crushed in under my top teeth. Like someone pinched them in. So thank you. After so many years and so many horrible tooth adventures, I'm ready to get braces. I've had 9 teeth pulled, the last two with no numbing agents, because I can still feel it. Thank you, Bentist, for posting these videos and explaining what's happening.
