Divorce goes back several generations for both myself and my wife's family. Thus far we've got 18 years under our belt and still going. She's my best friend. Oh we have nights where we fight, where we don't like each other, but we always come back to the commitment we made to one another. Marriage takes work people, can't always rely on feelings. As Ruth Graham once said...(paraphrasing) a good marriage is the union of two good forgivers. It's totally worth the work. As a consequence my kids grow up with a mom and dad who love each other, even on the bad days.
