Their relationship was extremely well written. It wasreally mature, the drama wasn't forced, and they realistically went through some rough patches. There are so many relationships in tv shows that are just forcing drama down our throats when it doesn't really make sense, but Jim&Pam's relationship was handled extremely well.

That scene kills me. I had a Pam once in my life and I wish I had the balls Jim had to have said that. Clutch.

Someone on reddit pointed out something very interesting. On casino night Jim didn’t initially go up to Pam with the intent to tell her how he feels. He went to tell her that he was moving to Stamford. He said “can I talk to you about something?” Instead of “can I tell you something?” Not the most convincing but if you look closely at Pam’s left arm you can see Jim point behind him when he said “I was just umm...” meaning he was guna say something like “I was just talking to Jan back there” but after that you can see his whole mood change in his eyes and he knows that he’s leaving, she’s getting married, it’s now or never. So he tells her rather than go to Stamford without telling her or telling her he’s going to Stamford and then seeming desperate attempt to win her over. He put it all on the line and didn’t even really think it through but as he said in season 9 love makes you do things that aren’t even logical
