Tiny tiny thing, but the way Wallace responds when Jim tells him the best thing about Scranton was the friendships is what made me start to like him. It's such a human response, the slight lowering of his voice and the understanding in his eyes - he really seems to realise something's off and, while he might really want Jim in this role, he's now realised that this might not be good for Jim. It's such a small detail but for an exec to be that compassionate towards an employee in an interview really caught me off guard on my first time watching

I love how it was clear David was gonna give Jim the job. He would have done amazingly at it too, we all know that. But he just couldn't do it. He finally had to finally get Pam. He deserved everything the world had for him.

oh my! 1:35 - 1:38 - you can see that twinge of pain that Jim feels in that moment as he realises what he might be saying goodbye to. His eyes show the sudden heartache 😢
