You can't get more sleepy then a Rover 75 with a 4.6 litre V8. I've seen people supercharge them as well which is insanely fun to see.

you probably heard of an out of body experience, but have you heard of a piston out of the engine experience, if you want to know more buy a car with a northstar engine

I was sure there would be a bricky volvo with inline 5 :D

And I'm really happy about that :)

What about the Lexus is300 first gen? That's like the perfect cheap, powerful, and reliable sleeper car.

lol, 5k in which country in which currency?
All of them are at least double the price when in at least acceptable condition.

The Subaru Legacy GT never had a STI sourced engine. While yes, it may have been designed by them in the first place, it was an open deck block. Plus it was a Twin Sequential Turbo set up, which is very much a product of its time.
They did however make a STI version of the 98-03 Legacy called the S401 (I happen to own one). Basically, take a normal Legacy GT TT - throw the entire STI catalogue at it (6 speed manual, EJ207 forged and semi-closed short block, custom suspension, Brembos, to name a FEW things), and you had a S401. A lot of people describe the S401 as the Granddaddy of the Legacy, and a close second to the Impreza 22B. But they cost nothing like the 22B at the moment. But that'll change for sure.
Plus, if you're wanting a TT Legacy, get what's called the Rev D, which is the final "Revision" of the shape. They were 02-03. They have a multitude of minor differences over the Rev A/B/C cars. But most importantly, the ECU is re-tuneable. So you're able to single turbo swap them.

Not first.
The STS was front wheel drive.

yeah the volvo box was not only no slouch but was surprisingly agile on the curvy roads as well.

Lol. The subi seemed quicker and better looking compared to the rest. I bought a 99 volvo s80 with 280ft lbs of torque and hp from 2k rpm to 6k for $200, under 1k into it and its one hell of a sleeper. Still want a 2.5gt subi tho.

Give that man in the last video a medal. Absolutely perfect shifts

The STS and first gen SRX were true American sleepers. But I would love to do a EJ20X swap in my Outback though, if it will work in it.

On the video you made a mistake, you had videos of Cadillac Seville instead of a STS. The Seville is FWD while the STS is RWD.

Northstar engines apparently aren't reliable, and the ml55 and touareg have a lot of problems on their own
Edit: what I want to say is thay you'll probably run into another 5k repair and running costs.

Most of these are very expensive even 2nd-hand here in Australia, but a neighbour down the road from me is real happy with his Liberty (even the same colour as the example shown), which he bought after inspecting numerous thrashed WRXs!
