Cant believe theres no mention of the GTP Grand Prix! That supercharged 3.8 was a torque monster and looked like a mid-sized grocery getter in the 4 door body.

I had a G6 GXP for 5 years, starting back in its hay day. Loved the car even though it was obviously a bit of an econobox. Slight correction, it came with a 3.6 V6. Only the GTP’s that came with the 3.9 V6.

The Mitsubishi galant ralliart was sold in Australia as the Magna VRX. I had one. Awd, 3.8L v6. It was surprisingly quick. If they came out rwd, they would have outsold the commodore and falcon.

The last Regal GS was NOT a turbocharged V6. It was an N/A V6.

When i think of mitsubishi i think of the 80s Galant VR-4. If it wasnt for the Galant VR-4 and it being the original platform for the 4G-63 we might not even have the Lancer/Evo models. My very first car was a 1989 Dodge 2000GTX ( aka the Mitsubishi Galant) with a 5-speed manual, unfortunately it didnt have 4G-63 in the "Dodge" model if i recall correctly. But it was a solid little car none the less.

The Honda Crosstour is a sleeper for being an almost full size crossover. 6 second 0-60 in the almost 300hp V6

When I worked at an oil change shop when I was in high school, this girl came up in an Altima SR and she was SOOO fine. She just wanted her tires aired up and I tried making small talk and ended up getting her number. At the time, was the most beautiful girl I had ever dated. But her CAR. 😍 Her car was soooo cool. That’s the only reason I remember about her to this day. 😂😂

My son's 2013 Regal GS is a rocket. Of course at 16yrs old I bought him a Mitsubishi Eclipse GS and he was hooked.

The 2018+ Regal GS isn't turbo charged as you mentioned...it's an NA 3.6L V6

GreenHawk..great video! I had forgotten that Mitsubishi used to make some great cars. I remember when the Eclipse was so crazy popular. Thanks for the memories!

That generation galant, known in australia as the 380 from 2005-2008 when it was produced here, had an even quicker version known as the TMR 380. With a supercharged 3.8 V6 that has 230kW (around 310hp), only 20 were ever made in 2008. A rare one, but a nice one for sure.

The Lincoln MKS Ecoboost is underrated imo. Same TT 3.5 and the same amount of power as the Taurus SHO but in a luxury package. Exceptional deal on the used market because they’re not driven as hard as the SHO because they’re usually owned by older and therefore calmer drivers

When I was 15 in '95, 2 months before I turned 16, my father and mother took me down to the local Ford dealership to get me my first car to practice driving in. His original intent was to get me a new Explorer Limited. When we got back home from the dealership, I pulled into the garage spot that was designated for my car, parked it, and exited from my new Taurus SHO. LOL It was literally taken out of the showroom off the showroom floor for me. It was awesome! It was emerald green w/tan leather throughout, and power everything. Great throaty girggle from the Yokohama engine. A few months later, my cousin borrowed it and f'ed it up to the tune of $15, 000 to repair. I ended up trading it in for a new diamond white Seville STS. A few months later I traded in for a '96 Lexus LX450 and graduated from high school driving the LX450 (it was cashmere beige metallic). Over the months after, I had A LOT of new rides. A Volvo S90. A 5.0 V8 Mountaineer. A 40th Anniversary Edt Land Cruiser. By '98 I was almost sure I was going to get either the new Mercedes-Benz ML320, or the Acura SLX Premium. Ended-up finding out from the dealerships that both had a tip over tendency in emergency maneuvers. I ended up then getting a new Lexus LX470 in black (only the 2nd of that vehicle sold and shipped to Florida at that time), and a '99 black Saab 9-5 Aero. Now that I'm older, I've been into Volvo and Audi predominately. Absolutely NOBODY does interiors like Audi! My all-time love is the '88-'92 Lincoln Mark VII LSC. So beautiful 😍! I'm still in the market to own one, and also another '97 Land Cruiser 40th Anniversary Edt., SLX Premium. I can be persuaded also a '90's Buick Roadmaster Estate Wagon.

The newest Regal was the 3.6L NA V6 and 0-60 in like 6 seconds. The older one was 2.0T, which was also reasonably quick. B

The Chevy beretta used to be a quick lil car. I had a buddy in school had one that he had done very lil to I think he upgraded the turbo, plugs, wires, chip, and a good tune and he was eating everything he ran up.

I’m sure it’s been mentioned. But the bonneville gxp was a 4.6 v8 North Star only. Ssei was the supercharged one.
