Elohim = The powerful ones in the ancient Hebrew.

Satan also refers to God by the term Elohim, then makes it perfectly clear that he's talking both about and to YHWH. It's not weird for the text, it's just weird for modern English speakers.

Elohim is plural. It comes from El which is singular for God.
El - God
Eloha - 2 gods
Elohim - 3 .
But this is the thing. Elohim is not three separate gods, it specifically means three in one.
For example at the very start of Genesis (the Torah and Old Testament Bible), it begins with “in the beginning God created..
the word used for God here is Elohim.

This is amazing because it is a plural noun used as a singular verb.
This confused the Jews back then too because they didn’t not understand the trinity to what we know..

But you see that the trinity is mentioned right at the very start of both Judaism and Christianity…

When Jesus says that he fears Elohim, he is talking to us as a human Man, because remember He came to earth to live with us as a Man. It’s the human nature that He is referring to about fearing God.. He is teaching us how to live as humans as according to His commandments but more so, that by living as a human, He is showing He’s connection us, and that we too can live a life of righteousness, by following the way He lived.

Most of the confusion is caused by the attempt to translate a text with ulterior motives and/or lack of clarity and respect. The great thing is that we're all asking questions and hopefully seeking truth. Blessings to all who are waking up and seeking the truth of the Most High.

Yahweh was once part of a broader Canaanite pantheon and El was the supreme deity not Yahweh, at that time Yah was just a warrior/storm god.

At The very start, God says something to the effect of “now let US create man in OUR imagine, with OUR likeness”
God either has multiple personalities, talks in the 3rd person, or wasn’t alone during creation.

Bro, Elohim isn't his name. It's his title. Yahweh is his name. That's like a king telling his servant. "You must do as your king tells you." he's not saying his name is king, but his title is king.

This is what happens when you don't have the Spirit of God leading you, the heart of men is easily to be influenced the Bible is a spiritual book and needs to be read under the assistance of *The Rauch hakodesh* for the carnal mind is unable to discern the things of the Spirit for they are spirit.

It's the holy trinity! Father, son, holy spirit! They are all the same entity God, but separate forms!

Elohim refers to many things including Yahweh, gods (Devine Council), angels, demons, spiritual beings etc.

The academic consensus is that El Elyon was the chief deity of the Canaanite Pantheon, and Yahweh was one of his 70 children. Deut 32 even describes Elyon giving Israel to Yahweh as an inheritance

Yahweh and Jeues is same, just different name people called.

El the all father, Elohim the children of El, Yahweh one of the sons of El

Later, El and Elohim came to refer only to Yahweh as Judaism became monotheistic

Back when these books were written in the Old Testament, the ancient Hebrews and others thought there were other gods - and that Yaweh was the god of gods, just like Zeus, or Rah. This is something that Christians don't want to admit or acknowledge. The books and letter that made it into the "cannon" 300AD were arbitrarily chosen and the letters and books written by the same authors that suggested other gods in existence were not considered for canonization by an arbitrary group of men.

The Bible is a polytheistic library of ancient writings.

Yes! These are good points and this needs to be discussed and cleared up. There should not be any guesswork involved

The truth is in a dream, God reveal himself to me indirectly as "Elohim".
When I heard this from the centurion in my dream armored in gold and orange and red. I am shocked. Because I'm calling my God " Elohim " which is in the Bible in Genesis. And I'm so happy for God is the Father of all for He created us all before we are born he knew us all and I'm just happy.

Its clarified in the Dead Sea Scrolls that Elyon and Yahweh(Lord) are not the same. It is further clarified by anyone who reads about the Canaanite Pantheon that Yahweh is Baal by another name. Then the verse Hosea 2:16 is another clue, along with the two creation stories of Genesis chapter 1 and 2.
