Lexington Kentucky is a beautiful place, mild weather very low crime rate, but land is high $$ !

So happy Annapolis made the list. I think Annapolis and Charleston are my two favorite southern cities, which isn't saying much since they look very similar.

The state of Maryland is not in the south. It is in the mid-atlantic. Even Virginia has become more aligned with the mid-atlantic region.
