Originally from Liverpool UK - if you do not have a lot of money and high paying job forget all these places. The video does mention why. My daughter was living in Wollongong and she came back to live at home because rents and house prices are over the top.
I live on the far south coast and even here rents and purchase prices are high. It was much easier in the past. If you really want to move here think about Wagga Wagga, Albury or some of the smaller country towns - and even these are no longer cheap.

Albury could have been included too. I travel into Sydney quite frequently from the upper Blue Mountains as I like the vibe of the inner city suburbs and harbour. Orange and Bathurst are attractive towns and Newcastle is a favourite of mine as well. All the cities mentioned are pleasant places to live in or travel to. There are many excellent inland and coastal road trips in NSW.

Lisa, I hear that the mayors of Albury, Dubbo, Wagga Wagga, Tamworth and Broken Hill are asking for meetings with you 😄😄

For Bathurst you didn't mention the Mt Panorama racing track??🚗🚗

I would definitely move more inland [currently North West Syd} I would pick Orange over Bathurst though! or any were that's not near the coast, but that's just me!

Newcastle has a new international airport terminal being built so you could of said that to anyone looking to go to Newcastle in the future so they can check for direct flights from where they are coming from if they are moving internationally

For me living in Lake Macquarie (Newcastle) or any city in NSW that is away from Sydney is a plus. Please dont encourage anymore people to come up this way just keep jamming them into that urban mess they call the Sydney basin its already hard enough trying to find somewhere to live up this way..

Wollongong is full. No houses left. Too expensive. Too many drop bears in the mountains. Too many hoop snakes between the mountains and the beach (deadly you know). Too many spring snakes in the sand on the beaches. Too many gonga sharks in the water. No fish here to catch, they swam away. Don't believe anyone who says it's our hidden paradise between the Pacific and the escarpment even though they're telling the truth. Don't believe me either.
