What is not discussed is the hundreds of tiny communities up and down the Spanish coast that have everything offered from large cities but far more relaxed and economical. I’m Mexican-American who purchased my retirement home just outside of Estepona, Spain. Look it up.

All beautiful places. Health care in Spain is first class. I will retire in Valencia, 30 years remaining.

As a Spanish citizen, I agree with this video. I'm also a teacher and help people to immerse in the language and learn conversational Spanish. Otherwise I truly believe that you are missing half of the beauty of living in Spain. I'm happy to share some ideas and advice. Let me know if you need any help. And hope you all enjoy Spain!

Good review, but totally left out all the quaint sites surrounding Benidorm. La Nucia, Polpo, etc.

Yeah, must be great to live there, especially when you are away for a short time and squatters storm your house / apartment and you are not even allowed to enter your own home while they are happily ravaging your place and sell your furniture...

Any wedding hot spots? Where do couples go to get married? It's my industry if I relocate.

I live north of Malaga. Recently met a group of Brits, in this area for more than 10 years, not a single one spoke Spanish. Just the usual few words. They told me that if local people want their business, they should adapt to THEM!

It’s just a shame its in the EU, There’s a new Visa law coming into force very soon called the Schengen visa is an entry permit for a short, temporary visit of up to 90 days in any 180-day period. A Schengen visa can be obtained in the form of a single-entry visa, allowing the holder to enter the Schengen area once, or a multiple-entry visa, which is granted for several visits to the Schengen area for as long as it is valid. Now this is a problem because you will have to leave the EUROPEAN border for 90 Days before you can apply to go back and your not guaranteed a yes, Thats means you can’t spend the whole of the Summer in Spain. Or like myself who has business in Europe where i need to go over and talk to people at times in meetings and Conferences, Its going to be a nightmare, Even the Film Festival in Cannes France is on about moving out of the EU to the UK 🇬🇧 where you dont have stupid dumb arse Visa rules, This will destroy the Tourists Industry.
