How to solve the Hanayama Cast Laby (spoilers)

In this video I will show you my solution to the Hanayama Cast Laby. This is a 5 star difficulty puzzle (out of a maximum of 6 stars), so it is relatively difficult.

This puzzle is another creation by the legendary Nob Yoshigahara back in 1997. Apparently this is based on some British puzzle in the 19th century, when puzzles were a big thing in Britain.

The name Laby stands for Labyrinth, which is sort of self explanatory when you look at the puzzle design.

To me the most tricky part of the puzzle is that the two protruding knobs which needs to travel through the mazes are not aligned, which makes it difficult to keep track where I was when flipping the puzzle trying to solve it. I think the puzzle is excellent as it is not only a maze puzzle, but there are 2 more twists in the plot which gives that "aha!" moment.

Overall I think it is a really good fun puzzle, and the looks of the puzzle screams "puzzle" with the obvious maze design.

Hopefully this video will help anyone stuck with this puzzle, or just need that little tip to help solving this puzzle. The Laby is really fun, and more enjoyable that I expected!
