What are the most powerful rogues in World of Warcraft lore?

Continuing on with the most powerful series, today we talk about the rogues. Rogues are one of the vaguest classes that are currently in the game as they can be anything from pirates to assassins and everything in between.

However nonetheless there are still a bunch of very influential WoW characters that are rogues such as Garona Halforcen, Lilian Voss as well as spymasters such as Mathias Shaw that are some of the most powerful figures currently in the Alliance. So what are the top 10 strongest rogues in WoW?

I would say Deathstalker Commander Belmont deserves to be on this list, he managed to get past tens if not hundreds of worgen hunting him whilst far behind enemy lines.

I think Brink the Gnome rogue Varian infiltrated Iron forge with should be on here. In a situation where even Varian is described to be on edge and worried Brink is described as calm and even seems bored by how easy things are for him.

Edwin, Mathias, Valeera, Lilian, and Garona are my favorites. The thing is that there's more to being a good rogue than fighting skills. Some of these rogues, there's nothing magical about them, so they have to out smart foes that are more powerful.

It's funny, cause as a Rogue back in Vanilla, axe throwing at low levels was better than ambushing most of the time.

I think this is a litteTricky list because rouges have many roles in this profesion.

But I believe Mathis is best in infiltration and colecting Information.
Lilian/ Maiev are best in close combact
Vallera/Garona are best in assasination Mission.

But I'm stil sad we don't have many rogues from little Races. Gnomes, Goblins and especialy Vulpera, are perfect for that type of dirty work

I know he died in Cataclysm, but honorable mention to Fahrad, who lived at Ravenholdt Manor as a grand master rogue for years without anyone figuring out that he was a black dragon.

I think Matthias was too high on the list. He's a mastermind which is great but Maev has littlerally captured dozens of not hundreds of demons over thousands of years. She has experience that no one can compare too. Also I think that you forgot the pandaren rogue (her name is escaping me). The shadopan are expert fighters even more so than regular soldiers. They had to be as they were the sole defending army of Pandaria. She survived the sha, thunder king, garrosh, etc. She is also a leader of the uncrowned.

I've been playing since launch; back in the day there was a Horde Rogue that stayed stealthed in IronForge and would gank players. I think his name was Soviet.

Garona was also in WoD mission table thing as a legendary follower. Also she is in the warcraft movie

varian is a rogue aswell, when he goes to rescue anduin from moira he moves with the iv and he moves as a rogue

I'm pretty sure Aleera would be most powerful, having a life span as an elf for that long, participating as a gladiator as much as she did, and running intel for the crown.
Givin' I don't know as much about Garona, I don't think she'd stand a chance from what I've seen, especially when assassination rogues specialize with poisons.

Valeera used to have a demon soul inside of her and she uses fel in addition to being a rouge, so she's more of a demon hunter

i really with the pirates were their own class and not part of rogue because in reality they are just warriors who wear clothes and fight like a mix of a warrior and rogue rarely needing stealth. it would be sick to see them become their own class having outlaw rogue spec become one of the pirate specs and rogue can get combat back.
