Scimitar of speed allows the rogue to sneak attack then hold action to sneak attack again after you end your turn

Currently playing a Gloom Stalker and got the Cloak of Arachnida. Combining its capabilities with Umbral Sight makes for an amazing scout.

Chapter 10 shows up as Eyes of the Eagle instead of Eyes of Minute Seeing as is shown in the video. Love these videos.

I love this series! Would you consider doing these videos for popular homebrew/unofficial classes, like the pugilist?

Spell Save DC is 8 plus your Spell Casting Modifier. in the event you do not have an existing Spellcasting modifier (through Class, racial Spell casting or a feat) Your Spell casting Stat is 8 plus your Intelligence Modifier. EDIT: 8 plus profiency no INT mod.

So spell modifier is 8+ profiency < Racial Stat/Feat Stat < Class modifier < Item specific.

I think for the Disguise spell save DC you take 8+Prof but not any Ability mod

My party is playing through Shadow of the Dragon Queen and we just got the Forest Shroud. I'm a Grave Cleric, but I've been acting as the party's scout because we lack a Rogue and I'm the only one with both really high Dex and proficency in Stealth, so the party decided to hand it to me. Looking forwards to using it.

Those Eyes of Minute Seeing are really awesome for my "detective" background rogue

My recent rogue character I made is of the scout subclass. Since it was a one shot at level 10, we were allowed to choose some magic items. For their magic items they opted for
-barrier tattoo (rare)
-bracers of archery (uncommon)
-bag of holding (uncommon)
-3 unbreakable arrows (common)
-orb of direction (common)

I’ve also discussed with my dm that maybe they be allowed to find a decanter of endless water (uncommon) and a rust bag of tricks (uncommon), both items because I think my rogue would enjoy them and find them practical for their hermit lifestyle in the woods or exploring. Oh and of course a +1 long bow or some other magic weapon type bow.

I just wanted to share my list. I had a few other options I wanted to add to the list for rogue but this all was what I settled on. I was thinking a longbow of alerting (or whatever it’s called) might also be of interest to him.

You need to do a top ten list of non-magic items. Too many rogues ignoring pepper, silica sand, and flour as part of their gear.
(For those who are curious, pepper keeps animals from using scent to track you. Silica sand and a light source outlines all invisible creatures. Flour shows any hidden passages; note that is not hidden rooms. A hidden room doesn't necessarily have enough airflow to matter. A passage will have enough of a draft to move the flour)

I think the ring of free action would be better than the number 2 option.

While you wear this ring, difficult terrain doesn't cost you extra movement. In addition, magic can neither reduce your speed nor cause you to be paralyzed or restrained.

Was literally looking up this topic for a half orc rogue assassin build I was working on. Lightly inspired by ariya or aiya from game of thrones. Forgot how her name is spelled🤷

The Kagonesti shroud although cool is only 1 time use per day. You can multi class as Way of Shadow Monk and achieve the same thing using shadow step but have unlimited daily use.

The bracers of flying daggers is cool but with Soulknife Rogue essentially is a better version since 1D6 rather than 1D4.

I find it very interesting the amount of items on here that require attunement.

While a consumable, and beneficial for anyone, the Mystery Key would work very well for a rogue who has trouble picking a lock of some great importance. You only got a 5% chance working, but it may work on ANY lock. It will disappear after using it, but it for a rogue it would be a great backup.

until next dawn... daily at dawn... etc,
Q: Should Recharge by magic items follow adjusted short-long-rest when playing a narrative "gritty" resting campaign?

Is there advice if all abilities better match either shortrest/daily/dawn or the charges can be codify to z*Dx // prof. per LONGrest ?
Or do you guys mixmash " take it as is" and Players responsible to inquire when can regain charges ?
