What Is CANCUN, MEXICO Like In 2024?

I was back in Cancun and the Hotel Zone after having traveled around in the Dominican Republic. In this video you will learn where you should stay in Cancun and you will see drone footage and a complete overview of what everything looks like. I go all along the hotel zone and stop for some food at a well known restaurant. On my way in I pass by the famous hotel Riu Palace and many other luxury hotels like the Ritz-Carlton, Grand fiesta Americana, Hilton Cancun and Oleo Hotel. There are also many affordable airbnb apartments to rent in the hotel zone of Cancun. During my previous travels in Mexico I visited many famous places such as Playa Del Carmen, Cozumel, Isla Mujeres, Bacalar, Tulum, Puerto Vallarta, Mazunte, Mazatlan, Puerto Escondido, Sayulita, La Paz, Cabo San Lucas and more. The water in Cancun is the best, so warm, clear, and feels like it hugs you along with the powdery white sand that never burns your feet, but feels like stepping on soft clouds. Cancun brings out the happiness in people, from every place in the world people gather to have a great time. It's surprising the meteor that killed the dinosaurs is nearby, which created all the cenotes, unique in the world, there's the 2nd biggest coral barrier reef in the world, now the 1st bc the Australian reef is now dead. Plus, underground rivers and largest cave system in the world, not to mention it has one of the richest cultures in the world, the Mayan civilization and their archeological sites. Completely amazing.

I absolutely love your videos. I remember watching the one where you were leaving Cancun and going back home for a bit. I was sad because I thought you would not be returning anytime soon and yet here you are with a new video from there. We love to vacation in the Cancun area and have always joked that when we retire.. we would spend 4 to 6 months of the year living in the area. When you were snorkeling, if you looked out at the ocean and see those waves / breakers just out a little further than you were? That's the reef. Swim out further and you'll see more fish, more rocks, and more coral. Often it is deeper on the other side of the reef, and sometimes much larger fish hang out there. Best to go with someone...a buddy system.
