I'm still in slight disbelief that they are actually going for the booster catch. That is going to be absolutely wild to see.

7:40 This tripped me up lol, "wtf 20 minutes gone already?"

Very ambitious! I think 4 years uncrewed to Mars is more realistic with all the challenges they have to solve first. Crewed in 12-16 years.

I think about flight 5 every day at this point. Imagine all the amazing angles we're gonna get of the catch attempt.

Hopefully in October you'll be able to update your intro sequence with a successful booster catch!

Crewed Mars landings in 4 years is a total fever dream, probably more like 10+ years, possibly with another type of ship completely

i remember when a few visionaries suggested the catch method for F9 on the NSF forums and most of us poo poo'd the idea. Now we are going to see an even larger vehicle be caught. Gotta love SpaceX

Wow. Five years, then humans to Mars, hopefully in my remaining years on Earth.
I'm so glad I can witness these monumental events in my lifetime

Starhopper can never be scrapped. It’s a museum piece of the future. Whether that is inside spacex HQ or in the Smithsonian. ❤

Honestly 2026 sounds reasonable for a single pathfinder. I mean all it'd cost them is one mars starship and a full tanks worth of refueler flights, so just sending one to see what happens isn't a stretch. It'll almost certainly get to mars, but there's a very good chance it'll fail to land, which is fine, because it's a single uncrewed test flight.

2 years is not happening and im confident about that. still have little infrastructure for starship, no teven at starship v2 just yet, still yet to catch a boother (for now), still yet to catch a ship, still yet to test ship-ship fuel transfer, still yet to definitively solve the boil off, still yet to solve the heat shield (for now), still yet to solve fuel ice build up, still yet to even make a seperate launch platform; certainly not infrastructure for multiple refuelling ships and depot, still yet to finish the first star factory, still yet to get starship v3 (for now), still yet to test raptor re light in space (for now), still yet to see starship v3, still yet to see HLS besides a mockup, and still yet to even somewhat develop ISRU technology for starship to actually return

Because Elon Musk's predictions have been SO ACCURATE in the past. He said Starship would be flying to the moon by now.
