Elon Musk missed his true calling. He should have been a TV evangelist. Many of the same credulous fans who accept his pipe dreams at face value today would line up for him if he was shouting hellfire and waving a bible. After all, the levels of credulity required to follow a TV evangelist are about the same as those required to uncritically endorse his many schemes, and he is as qualified to be a TV preacher as he is to be an engineer or scientist of any kind.
