If the sun dies, we won’t be around to care what happens to Jupiter.

At 29:08 approximately, you put the cart before the horse, so to speak. You implied that planets would be safe in the white dwarf stage yet forgetting that nearby planets to such star would be in grave baking danger as that star goes through its enormous swelling stage first before it collapse into its white dwarf stage? So, I beg to differ and not troll purely on known scientific basis. Our Sun going through such stage would definitely swell up to and past Jupiter and have it for a long awaited meal and every planet between our Sun and just past Jupiter before it collapse into its white dwarf stage which would also be much hotter and more magnetic than our Sun in its main sequence stage currently???? So, once again, I ask: How would you like your Jupiter served ?
