The reason you can’t break it is for 2 reasons. Reason 1 is the pressure of the force is on the top which is the strongest point of the egg as the force is dispersed, and reason 2 is because your Palms are soft. Try this but place 2 large coins in your hand where the points of the egg touch. Using the coins, you should be able to break the egg.

I literally did this egg challenge today (I do it all the time) and this time I think I did it wrong bc I crushed the egg in my hand and the yolk went everywhere 🤣🤣🤣🤣

The egg is strongest at the top and the bottom (or at the highest point of the arch). That's why the egg doesn't break when you add pressure to both ends. The curved form of the shell also distributes pressure evenly all over the shell rather than concentrating it at any one point

Dude I just tried this with on hand because I’ve done it before. Wanted to show my mom and did it over our new couches because I “knew” it wouldn’t break. Damn egg hella broke like wtf I’ve done this before why did it break 😭😩

People are still falling for the old egg trick? The funny thing is a lot of people do it wrong and still can't break it. So many videos of people who can't crush the egg in their hand no matter how they squeeze it. This man is right though, if you do it like this it will not break. When I was a kid Lou Ferrigno tried it on TV and failed.
