Agreed. I started preparing back in 2015. Downgraded my life. Sold my $300K home for a $96K foreclosure, sold my two mustangs and picked up two used Super crew F150s. Over the last 9 years, I just purchased little by little. Now I feel prepared for whatever happens or does not happen.

Buy a small farm bordering federal land, preferably with a fish pond on the property. Make sure it is at a good distance from densely populated areas. Learn to farm vegetables and fruits, cook fish from the pond and game. Get to know like minded people with different skills than you have.
