I knew some people who worked in military intelligence. They were all clean-cut types, very disciplined. They knew who they were and they knew who people around them were. Getting to know them, however, was difficult. They adapted easily and could pick up cues in very ambiguous circumstances, with little direction given. They also carried cash.

from what i see, CIA operative are pretty much what Burn notice say. they are highly talented ex SOF's who are even more trained, and put in dangerous situations to learn things. they are so heavily trained because they could spark wars, so they need to be kept hey im probably wrong lol

I would think that the nature of their business is sensitive to the point where and when they save your as@ they cant tell you.
Additionally, when you attack them by ignorance they cannot defend themselves. Wait until declassification proves you either a conclusion jumping idiot, or a thoughtful appreciative citizen.
