My ex boyfriend behaved like this on Facebook and Viber. Just after I’d been to visit him in his hometown and the relationship became more serious, he went from contacting me a couple of times a day to no contact at all. Suddenly he went quiet. When I was online the same time as him, he’d ignore my presence. When I’d write to him and he’d take 30 minutes to respond with few words if not at all. He became rude in my opinion. He didn’t tell me what was going on. This went on for a month until I threatened him with an ultimatum. Looking back, I should have dumped him sooner. When he saw my ultimatum he responded with excuses saying how he hasn’t got time to contact me everyday and so on. Looking at his pattern of behaviour I came to realise he’s not capable of holding long term relationships. Previous girlfriends have left him. It turns out that he’s on the spectrum. He’s one of those guys who like to be alone and romantic relationships leave them mentally exhausted 💤. We broke up and it was painful 😖. I recently blocked him.

I so wish I’d had good sense and recognized the signs he was not interested. Started with a hook up and I caught feelings. These observations are spot on and it took me years to get past it. Mostly mad at myself for pursuing a man who anyone could see didn’t give a shit about me. Kind of ruined my self esteem and I’ve never dated since then.

4/5 signs yet I constantly ignored them. finally had a conversation with him the other day and he said "he just needs to focus on himself rn, he can't focus on anyone else" which basically confirmed everything my intuition was already telling me.
