From what I can gather, this storm was considerably less sever than many had predicted. While it was bad, it hasn't caused anything, like the level of damage originally predicted and most problems such as major power outages are due to the flimsy cables and transformers on poles kind of infrastructure in the area rather than the severity of the storm.

I was watching live when the outer bands hit and tornados were dropping like crazy. Like 1 warning every 5 minutes. It was nuts. Never saw anything like that before.

Better to hear “we have just arrived” than getting reporting during the disaster. It’s really time to stop forcing reporters into those insane conditions as though a remote, unmanned camera couldn’t give an adequate visual without endangering reporters the way they do.

It's not possible to have a 10' surge where he is. The boats would have gone.

Pretty sure the damage in this was not from last night, Theyve drove around and looked for something that looks bad, The storm was bad but no damage was caused, Few cables down, few trees down but no damage to anything, People were talking about a 10ft Tsunami coming through towns.... Honestly just a embarrassing over exageration.

Assessing the damaging. By spending the entire time by a boat... Could of drove around and sent a drone up for the true scale

Mark Stone, Sky's News Correspondent, the best one to describe Milton's after-effects..."they dodged the bullet here...the structural damaged not as bad as people fear..", well said, indeed.

All rookie numbers as according to BBC weather we have consistent winds in excess of 16 thousand miles per hour for the next few days lol 😆

If only there was some way of moving a boat to somewhere safer.

First four articles are about a storm 4200 miles away……where do we live?

All the other boats moored up seems to be perfectly fine, more likely poor seamanship
