I've never played Super Mario 3D World before, and it quickly became one of my favorite Switch games ever

A Short Hike is such a beautiful experience. It is so fun to explore.

The thing about the hades narrative is even though most of the characters are Greek gods or demigods they are very relatable, more so than most regular Joe's from other games. The Greek gods have their specifics and flaws to make them more relatable so it should perhaps be not that surprising but supergiant implemented them just beautifully.

The Switch is an absolutely incredible system with some of the best games I've ever played. I'm still firmly of the opinion that Super Smash Bros Ultimate and Zelda Breath of the Wild are two of the greatest games ever to grace the earth. And if that's somehow not enough, there are fantastic gems such as Super Mario Odyssey, Animal Crossing New Horizons, Splatoon 2, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, Luigi's Mansion 3, Ring Fit Adventure and many, many other excellent offerings. Outstanding system, here's to four more brilliant years!

Out of the Switch games I’ve played in Year 4, my top five favorites would definitely be:
1. Xenoblade Chronicles: Defintive Edition
2. Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity
3. Super Mario 3D World+Bowser’s Fury
4. Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Rescue Team DX
5. Pikmin 3 Deluxe
(This’s only counting Nintendo exclusive games though, since I don’t typically include multiplatform games as Switch releases, even if I don’t fault ya’ll for doing so.
Honorable mention would go to Animal Crossing: New Horizons since even if I’m not a big AC fan and haven’t picked up the game in a while, it’s still an overall solid game.)

No love for Bioshock 2? That game was really, really good. One of the last old school shooters before everything became a CoD clone for awhile there. What it lacks in story, it makes up for in it’s combat and atmosphere. The game is just too much fun. Especially Minerva’s Den. Now there’s an excellent story.

Edit: also What the Golf is totally worth everyone’s time! The game’s hilarious!

Personally, I'm a huge fan of Jurassic World Evolution that was ported to Switch in the fall.
