While digital is more convenient because you don't have to carry all the games around if your on a trip and you don't have to get up to switch games when playing on the TV I still prefer physical games because collecting them and I like having the option to sell the game later or get a refund if I don't like the game since the eShop doesn't offer refunds

While I am strongly within the physical collection side of things, I am shocked to see how many of these comments genuienly think you cant play any digital games without a consistent wifi-connection, or that they'll get deleted if the EShop gets shut down.

I like physical games seeing them just makes me feel happy they take up less storage include bonus stuff in the cases and you can resell them

Although I agree digital is better, the Switch is like the only system that has actual benefits for physical too. Plus, you can just get a carrying case for your Switch and put your cartridges in it for easy transportation.

As I got older, I started to not want to bother with physical copies anymore. It's way more convenient especially on a handheld to have all your games stored on your system. Box art is all generic now, and theres not even manuals anymore. People say "oh well you can keep them forever" but I always ended up selling my physical copies of games anyway. And it's not like I ever got any good money for them. Digital is just easier or more simple for me nowadays.
