Had both the regular and Lite. I sold myregular and kept the Lite. If you want to play handheld the Lite is better.

the light is not just cheap but also has better performance and is better for the handheld lovers.
I switched from the light to the OLED and i do sometimes miss the light and think about getting one later because it's not as bad as people make it out to be. It's actually pretty good in performance and quality. It feels waayy more robust than the regular switch too + i like the feel of the buttons + that there's an actual dpad

The switch OG is what laid the groundwork for the light and the oled it’s still a great option if you want to say a $50

Lite definitely was worth it especially when you can find one discounted its easily the best portable gaming system without any tinkering involved with the best games.
No other system comes close to it at below $200.

-Buy an original Switch if you only plan on playing on TV.
- Buy a Lite if you just want to play Switch games at the most affordable price.
- Buy an OLED if you want the whole package. That OLED screen is totally worth the extra 50 bucks.
