If the car dissapears when you use mirror at around 6:43 on the right check mark the box y on axis. Then make the car the object and then uncheck the y on axis

Everyone that gets the car to dissappear when mirroring, I fixed it by switching the axis on the mirror modifier from x to y, and the car appeared, try it out :D

using 2.8. at 9:12 --> use Shift E to extrude along normals (the windscreens) after messing about i used Alt E

I did have a little trouble understanding the measurements because I use blender on my mac so it could be a little helpful to press N and bring up the bevel and vertices measurements on the sides. other than that good job! I learned a lot from this and I hope many more creative people will be able to use this tutorial and make something amazing!

if you have problems seeing the hole after using the bool tool, select your car in object mode then ctrl + a and apply all transformations
