also one of the reasons this is such a popular weapon is bc it really makes you feel super powerfull very early on into the game (MR 4) when at that moment your best weapon was probably just the boltor. and i still use it (MR 22 atm) when im using khora's strangledome. it just cleans all the bugs from the web :)

Also its the best weapon yo use in granum void. DOES NOT matter if you have glaive prime that being better, since xoris gets a special attack in granum void. Literally the only wep u can easily get 3 star win there without mesa

It's weird to call Xoris "most popular" cause I almost never see anybody using it lol
I started using it again because I got a Riven though, rolled +Init Combo +Puncture +Crit Damage -Combo Duration and been having a blast with it on Gyre. Forced Electric procs on the radial attack makes it perfect for her since I can build Corrosive for raw damage and still use Elec for her passive. I just spam it with Corrupt Charge and get 300k+ hits consistently, before armorstrips, that nukes rooms with Gyre's Cathode Grace augment, lots of fun really. It's also amazing with Melee Influence since you don't need to build Elec to benefit from it.

It slices and dices and it even impersonates as an EMP grenade when used on the Corpus. Look good while you rave using it as a melee weapon.

I'm a Xoris Main The explosion ability Is Honestly the best part of it. With moddong focused on damage range and impact it can take down even heavy hitters with No charge but when u charge it it annihilate everything in your way. And With a good stance mod the combos are amazing

It's the first weapon that you need in the game everybody has to get it it's like you have to get this weapon to complete one of the missions it's a requirement that's why it's mostly use

I think Xoris is #1 because of the granum void and sisters of parvos since you literally have to use it, plus it’s a story weapon and will be a decent option for early game players

I use mostly the twin krokhkur and yet duel weilding is potentially like actually good especially with stance mods in warframe sadly under appreciated and fun to use i think

Unpopular opinion but I actually prefer swords and daggers over any other melee. Skiajati Umbra, Broken War, and Ether Daggers specifically are my top 3

If you use Nezha, you'll get really good at using Xoris and other glaves.

It's almost like their reaction to the melee meta was to make melee a largely worse option than aoe. There are some specific exceptions like xoris/glaive prime, and stat sticks for exalted weapons, but pretty much all of those exceptions highlight the problem.

Now I feel like an idiot for throwing out my xoris immediately after the deadlock protocol since I really didn't get a good impression of it from the questline. I've found stuff I find more fun than glaives but it still feels bad.

If you guys don't want to use Glaive but still want a throwable weapon. Use Edun, Polearm with explosive heavt throw.
