I hate when people buy things from thrift stores then resell them. Its awful when you're just trying ti find some cheap things in your budget, and then the stores hike up their prices because people like this guy are making a profit off donated items

Those stupid word/saying home decor pieces are actually great surfaces to paint on after a light sanding and priming- I’ve made some beautiful gifts and paintings over the years painted on top of “Live Laugh Love” Wooden Wall Art.

As a teacher, I'm so happy how cheap the popits are at thrift stores. They're my number one buy. I'm lucky that my local one packs a bunch together and sells them at a flat price. Cheaper than buying anywhere else and I get different shapes.

BTW if you're a crafter, those signs are a great deal at thrift stores or check hobby lobby they go on clearance. For just a couple dollars.

I used to work for this thrift store company. They're a Utah State based nonprofit church-owned organization that hires employees to help them get on their feet & find better jobs. I worked there for two years, and used to organize the Library section, offload donations in the donation line, and price the furniture.

Their only source of income is donations, so by buying items at the store, you are indirectly giving people their paychecks and supporting them in their search to become a better person and find a good job.

A lot of the people I worked with were really down on their luck, having been drug addicts, alcoholics, homeless, or sometimes all three. In the time I'd worked there, I saw so many life transformations with so many people.

Please do support their efforts by ignoring this YouTuber, and buying whatever you want from the company. It's literally saving lives in some cases.

Or don't do reselling! There's people who can only afford thrift atores and you'll only be giving corporations more reason to hike up peices when the people who truly need these stores can't afford living as is.

How about we don't sell thrift store items? That way less fortunate people can actually buy products they NEED, intead of places like GoodWill marking up their prices to the point that those people can't afford it?
