What I need most Dawn of Man to do:
1) Have competing tribe build their own villages in the same map.
2) Improve AI so that your own tribe does jobs CLOSEST to them. Now people take any job no matter how far, and die on thirst, hunger or cold traveling between their jobs. Thus building any distance away is stupidity and kills your tribe, or at least they waste their time big time travelling the distances between their jobs.

I'm not so sure cavemen had recon drones to base all their decisions off. 😁
Tho, I am am sure this game is fun for many, as it seems well liked, I feel it would be better, even if just in hardcore mode, if you couldn't zoom out further than say a human could actually see if he was on the ground and no world map. Another less drastic way would be to only allow you to zoom out if you've seen the land already and the rest is fog of war till you actually travel there. I just feel the camera zoom as it removes any real sense of discovery and anticipation, but I also don't like city builders in general mostly for this reason. I do however love the concept of traversing the ages of man and technology from cave man thru iron age. That said a compromise between say valheim and this would be interesting. What I mean is give this game valheim's third person immersion but keep it's game-arch

Bought the game yesterday and been having a blast, played a little bit of normal. Struggled a bit, went to creative and got up to a population of 130 with a giant compound wooden fence around it stacked with towers and the works and filled up with residential and workers areas. Even had a small second settlement forming a lil bit away before mfs started starving and dropping like flies 💀💀 got a lot to learn but I'm having a lot of fun with the game. Started a new nomad hard-core game and have a little 13 pop settlement who already had to kill a mammoth with the first four adults cause it wouldn't stop tip toeing on my borders lmao

@Raptor, You need some stone so you can get that burial mode built. Also when I play I also click the plus button and select the alarm menu. That way when animals or raiders attack I can sound the alarm then sound the all-clear after it is over. It is good If an animal is going after someone as they will run for camp then the stupid animal follows them into camp and everyone attacks!
