the f91w might not have the shock protection of the gshocks but they are so thin and light that they just won't get damaged. If you break an f91w on wrist you probably have some more serious injuries to worry about

The F91W was my watch in the military - the little timepiece never let me down. Now I have a pretty descent watch collection with some well known Swiss and German brands, but still own (and like!) the little black Casio. It's a legend.💙

Great review! Even more reason to love the G-Shock. I now own 7 since my days in the Marines and they are all I wear for both durability and sentimental reasons as my Mom bought most as for Birthday / Christmas gifts! From solar atomic squares / King G to a couple analogs they all work flawlessly with just couple of OEM strap / battery / water resistant seal replacements. I love knowing I have a capable watch on my wrist that I can wear for any activity without fear of damage. I've also gotten lots of compliments as they stand out in a sea of smartwatches. I've noticed a trend among these G-Shock torture tests that just when you think you killed it, they come back to life! haha

As a beater I'd prefer the F91 since my wrists are small, I'd prefer a slimmer watch as a beater and not something chunky

I’m surprised how tough that little f91w was, considering i don’t plan on running my watches over with a pickup truck i think it’s perfectly adequate and a lot cheaper than the G-shock, the G-shock is tough as nails but the f91w did not die without a fight and at that price there is litteraly nothing on the market that would beat that

i bought a F91w on November 19 2017 (i looked up my amazon orders) and today the strap broke but i have been wearing that piece 24/7 365. that thing is super tough it been thru everything (im a mechanic).. i just ordered replacements strap on ebay

interesting video, I have both but I always had a feeling there's few ways someone would actually break an f91 in their daily life. but I like the chunky look of the gshock too

the f 91w
is just a simple small watch with plain and beautiful design.
it can take a lot for a watch of this price.
and as an owner of the dw 9052
i more prefer the f 91 because its so light on the wrist and great for any activities (without scuba diving :)
