PacParts.com used to sell center cases in the past but early last year Casio started restricting many parts like center cases, crystals, buttons, etc... which is really unfortunate. You could easily fix the button by taking it out and straightening it as much as possible. I often have to do that when I restore old vintage G-Shock squares. I highly doubt the damage to the center case hurts the water resistance - even the buttons have two stacks of rubber gaskets protecting them.

Now that's a true torture test. I'm amazed the crystal looks as good as it does.

I'm convinced the only thing my kids can't break are the electronic noise making toys that scare me to death when I bump into them in the middle of the night. There is no better real world torture test! I'm glad to see you all had a lot of fun making this video. Great video and a great idea!

Wow. What a test. I can't imagine many watches being able to survive a rock thrown at them. Just out of interest, if you got one of the Bluetooth versions, as long as the BT component remained intact, it wouldn't matter if all of the buttons got smashed in as you can control all the watch features through the App. So it could still function pretty well as it did before. I admire your kids sense of determined destruction, something I have had plenty of experience of myself.

I've had a G-shock on my wrist my entire military service, it took so many beatings and just kept going. It still works today, 15 years later (19 years after it was first purchased by my older brother).
Great video Dave, it turns out that destroying watches is a great afternoon activity with the kids!

hello sir, never worried. you're in japan. there is where g-shock born. you could easily find a broken module but with good intact hardcase online. it can be salvage. it's pretty easy to find replacement parts in japan. you'll come up with something. cheers.
