Mandalorian Jedi? Tarre Vizsla the First Mandalorian Jedi Discussion

Tarre Vizsla was introduced as the first Mandalorian to be inducted into the Jedi Order. In a recent clip from Star Wars Rebels, Fenn Rau shares the history of the darksaber; the ties to Mand'alor; it's origins within the Jedi Order; and the significance of the weapon.

In this discussion I will look at Thrawn's artwork and the artwork on Mandalore, and talk about the possible connection to Tar Vizsla and possibly an even older group of Force weilders who may have influenced the Mandalorians.

My top 5 thoughts on Sabine and the Dark Saber are:

1. Sabine's mother is Bo Katan or Rook Cast.
2. Sabine will fight Gar Saxon and lose the Dark Saber to him or Gar will steal it from her.
3 Sabine will have to beat him for it to become leader of Mandalore.
4. Sabine's mom and Fenn will team up and create a Mandalorian rebellion against Saxon's Imperial loyalist army.
5. Mandalore will end up in a civil war outside of the rest of the rebellion.

That would explain why we don't see anyone from Mandalore in the original trilogy films.

Boba Fett doesn't count. He is a Bounty Hunter and not part of the Mandalore conflict over leadership.
