DIY Interior Door Makeover | How To Upgrade Ugly Doors

If you are like me and have been living with plain, ugly hollow core doors in your home, maybe consider giving those old doors a makeover. This DIY tutorial will walk you through how I transformed my interior hollow core doors into cottage style beauties. This is a great project that is budget friendly and makes a huge difference.

Great for inspiration! I'm thinking: if your existing panels are thick enough you could also have sanded them down to then run a surface mill over your door. That would save time and materials ☺️

But you'd have to know for sure your panels are thick enough.

All my doors are hideous the previous family painted them this weird salmon color and painted over all the hardware ugh this video gives me hope. They came out amazing 💜

Please wear a mask when cutting or sanding MDF. The dust contains formaldehyde.

So I did this and unfortunately my door jams do not tap off like yours does. The door is now too thick to close. Any ideas?
