DIY Shaker Door - Easy and Affordable Doors

HEY GUYS! you know i am all about D I Y and this might be a favorite of mine so far. i was able to flip two second hand doors and save over 600$ and achieve the same look. thats winning if you ask me!

Great video - what was the size of the panels you used to create the look? And what material (type of wood) and thickness did you use? Did you have to bump the interior casing back to accommodate the extra thickness? Thanks!

I really what to te this at home, but my Doors are rounded at the border (at the knob side).
What can I do or add to get the same result as you?

My door opens in as in you push in to open. My problem is adding the wood panels down side means when I close the door well that's the problem it doesn't close as it meets the frame is there a way around this because doing it closed is grand but then when door is open I have like half an inch gap around the sides and looks awful! I hope this makes sense?

Nice job. How did you compensate for the utside trim around the closet? When adding the trim on the door wouldnt the door stick out further than the outer perimeter trim around the closet?
