As a hired closer by profession; i 100% use and agree with the tactic. The old adage: “Every NO gets you closer to a yes” is not implying sales is a numbers game, it means this 🙌 get the NOs out and remove the objection, dont ‘evercome’ thrm

This is gold! I was in sales for short time, never learned this. I can spot most sales come ons a mile away, but this new. A good closer. If you try "always be closing" nowadays, people will close DOWN. 😅

I learned this when the book came out and from years of experience using it I can tell the tone and preframe are of paramount importance to use this. you can't just 'say' it, because at best you gonna sound weird af and at worst you'll blow it. technically you've it long before in this case but anyway.

What about “how do you feel about this?” I used that to negotiate volunteer job descriptions before and wouldn’t ask for a commitment till they felt good

I wonder if this is a quirk of the English language as whenever I speak with European speakers they generally say is this is correct, no? At first it was confusing but maybe it’s more pleasing to people generally

"Is this a bad idea?" Yes
"Is this ridiculous?" Yes.
These guys always act like the answers in their narrative are always what they want to hear.
