People act like this is just a simple walk in, take some pictures, take some DNA, boom find the killer. This isn't a TV show. This was a party house with people coming in and out of this place all the time, there are no eye witnesses, no video's (we assume), no murder weapon, and tons and tons of peoples DNA scattered all over that house. Not to mention a dog that could have messed things up massively forensically.

Honestly. this was like the perfect place for something like this to happen. This isn't just a mom and dad out in the middle of no where who got murdered and very little traffic in and out of the house. This place was the party house. DNA, fingerprints, fibers, hair, etc all over the place.

I am very impressed with the interviewing style of this presenter.He is respectable towards the victims and he gives the police detective being interviewed plenty of time to answer. Not cutting him off mid sentence or talking over the top of him.

Calgary, Canada had an almost identical tragedy with 5 innocent victims on April 15, 2014. After one group of kids left a house party for fast food, the offender attacked with a large knife killing five people. By chance the group who left for fast food came back, intercepted and subdued him. The offender was a 22 year old acquaintance of the victims who experienced an acute onset of schizophrenia. In the time leading up to the tragedy he was making " the world is coming to an end " and other abnormal statements. Both Prosecution and Defense agreed with a Not Criminally Responsible from Mental Illness verdict and he was remanded into the custody of a mental institution - not a prison. The offender was the son of a well respected police officer and until then was a normal kid, but for this terrible illness - all parties agreed - the innocent victims would be alive.. Can’t help but feel like the murder is getting a high off them not having any leads. It’s absolutely sickening to know this person is probably watching all the updates as we all are and getting off on the pain of the victims families. I’m praying that this person is caught before anyone else falls victim at the hands of this psycho.

I think … that the public is used to presuming that we deserve to know every detail. But we should understand that until a murderer is apprehended, whatever is being released necessarily has to bear in mind that the murderer is probably also watching. They can’t be saying things that could help the murderer in any way.

I feel so sorry for all the parents, but Maddie's dad he breaks my heart she was the only child these parents had, I am not saying that because the other parents have more kids will make it easier, but those parents will never see their daughter graduate or see her getting married having kids. It's just horrible all around.

Any updates for Buddy's murder? Or we just going to continue to ignore that? Did we look for DNA surrounding Buddy's case? I wouldn't return to that campus until they find the person who tortured and sadistically murdered Buddy, as well as the four students, of course.

This has truly left me demoralized and depressed . This horrific and sinister act is incomprehensible . The level of rage and violence is so sad . These beautiful souls didn’t deserve to be killed in such a gruesome way . I really hope they catch the person or persons responsible . While they slept ughh that’s the part that’s so messed up . These people lived fuller lives than the perpetrator ever will. How pathetic but also heartwarming to know that someone that can commit crimes like these are such incompetent human shells of themselves that the only thing that gives them peace or excitement is killing others. Are the pitiful things just jealous? I wonder if they get bothered knowing that their victims enjoyed emotions and experiences their little brains will never have the capacity to understand or enjoy.

I think people are curious because they can relate to the college environment. All of these visuals are so familiar to people who attended college (especially liberal arts/rural colleges) and many of us did not lock our doors. It hits home because it could have happened to any of us who lived in that environment at any point in time. I don't necessarily agree that the audience is just fascinated or curious by the murders in itself.

Now that you know two were in bed together upstairs, it changes things. One was the primary target, but the other had to go too now. During that attack Ethan wakes up, meets killer in the hallway (he was found outside the bedroom remember), then Xana last because she witnessed it.

It’s crazy to think if those two hadn’t bunked together upstairs, only 1 might have perished in this tragedy.

This hits home. I have six kids - similar ages and the nurture part of me wants justice for these families. I just can’t imagine.
