New details in investigation into Idaho stabbings

I just listened to a former investigator describe the house. It backed up to a wooded area and at night, it would be easy to hide back there and see everything going on in the house if they had the lights on. Sounds like someone could have been hiding back there and watching/waiting. Terrifying. This is why I never have all the lights on without the shades being drawn at night.

The family, especially the sister saying "Jack is not a suspect" pisses me off. It's not their place to make that decision, especially when 3 other victims and their families deserves answers. EVERYONE is a suspect.

1. People who ask how the other 2 didn't hear anything: it's very possible. When someone is stabbed from behind or when the knife pierces the lung, the air escaping their lungs makes them wheeze or sigh but unable to scream. Same, if someone's throat was cut. Plus, if they were in deep sleep after heavy drinking and in the basement- that's that.

2. The killer was someone close to them coz they knew the house - again, not necessarily. Turns out, Zillows has the house featured on its website so it is not difficult to get the layout of the home.

It's totally possible that we have a serial killer on the loose.

To the people that keep blaming the 2 surviving roommates, you lack critical thinking skills. Do you believe the authorities did not check their bodies/hands for evidence/wounds that would be there if either had massacred 4 of their friends?! I'm sure it was evident upon looking at them that they weren't involved. You know nothing about the procedure they took or how these girls have been affected by this tragedy. Have any of you ever been in a situation this horrifying?! I'd say the majority have not. Therefore, you honestly have no grounds to spew an accusation this harmful and cruel.

Huh. Killing four people by stabbing doesn't seem random. It brings to mind the Manson Murders, so anything is possible.

We can speculate but forensic science and professionals will get answers and most likely we will be surprised at the outcome I just want them to be at peace.
