Gabe isn't involve too much in development now a days the problem is valve devs take his ideas and thoughts as if it's a holly book which he himself says he don't like that he want them to discuss it with him not take the ideas as it's that is why after all this years what we get from valve is another moba

Gaben in all honesty is one of the greatest people of all time though anyways. I guess he tries to reply to people who reach out to him. On top of that he HAS done things like personally giving out the steam deck, going house to house. That with the fact that Valve has only like 400 employees is pretty nice. Even with all of this, gaben leaves cs to us. 😢 I don't think he loves us the same.

Well Gabe actually plays dota and love the scene but i remember in many interview that gaben does not like to particularly meddle on development and is quite the imposing figure inside valve that most developers often view his ideas as gospel which he isn't particularly fond of.

The DOTA prize pool is mostly crowd funded, hence why its so much larger. most other game tournaments require sponsors to fund the prize pools

this is misinformation. Gaben did not take revenue from CSGO and put it in Dota 2 pricepool. Please before you make such statement, Do a little research how DOTA 2 generate their price pool.

That Dota tournament (The International) is being funded from Battle Pass. 25% from all money in Battle Pass goes to TI so they earn atleast 160m from BP alone...
But Dota also has majors and other stuff like CS and its all subpar to CS on average. Where CS pays a mil, Dota gives 500k.

If cs2 actually added all new gamemodes, it would be great for the game. Imagine a cod zombies-esque gamemode. Or just literally anything. Lots of things could be fun with csgo movement and shooting. Im hoping for more than jist a csgo visual update and new skins.

the thing is CS dont have that much companies who support it.
i dont know who said it but some comepanies dont like to support CS because of the "terrorist" and "counter-terrorist" on it
