Bushcraft Skill - Bow Drill Kit

FOLKS!

In this video, I hit the woods and put together my first bow drill set from the woods. By that i mean, i found the materials i needed, out in the woods and put together a set and created a fire with it. All i used was a knife, a saw and a hank of bankline. Friction fire and primitive skills are awesome, so i had a good time filming this one.

Dude, doesn't count, where's the snow?? Just kidding man. You're right a wood top block is way harder. It adds so much extra work when you have to repoint all the time. Small factors can add big difficulties. Nice job though, you looked really proud and you should be! It's not easy!

awesome job sir, a great skill to know, a better skill to practice. I'm one of those people that are notorious for learning a skill then not doing it again forever, then going to do it to show someone and forgetting how much work goes into it.
