Hard on softwood bro don't use the same wood for the stick and bord this helped me a lot

There’s definitely a geometry to this that you don’t have going on there. Body position is off. That bow stroke needs to be the length of the string, parallel to the ground, slow and steady.

Reminds me of the time I spent like 30 minutes trying to do this ans just as I got the smoke blowing sweat from my head dropper on it and I threw the wood into the Forrest out of anger
