I bought the cheap looptyers. Quick skim over with a bit of sandpaper and you are all good.
Same with Matchman or those Chinese metal hooktyers. Just take the sharp edges off the prongs with sandpaper. No more line damage.

You defo get what you pay for. I bought a cheap tyer first by mistake and i couldn't even hold it correctly. Great video. One about removing hooklengths would be great 👍

Perfect video esp on the figure of 8 knot i was getting mixed up with an underhand knot in passing the loop twice through the hole instead of twisting it round then through for tying hooks.
Can you show how to line tye hooks that are already hair rigged with push stops onto hook lengths
