As a hobby photographer I want to mention the effect camera lenses can have on the look of faces. Mobile phones have mostly wide angle lenses. Taking selfies up-close leads to so called barrel distortion making your mid face area look inflated. So take this into account for creating good portrait photos

Basically, the best way to remember this is:

If you REALLY have to think about whether or not you are attractive (or genuinely ugly), essentially needing time to mentally shift through memories or experiences to find any kind of evidence….you are in the AVERAGE realm.

Truly attractive and truly ugly people are intuitively aware they are what they are (past experiences gave them the conclusions a long time ago), and don’t need to search their brain for answers.

I'd be interested to see a breakdown for women's faces especially because it seems like women increase their rating by a couple of points just by wearing make-up which inflates the rating. Going back to the thumbnail, the girl who's an 8/9 is visibly wearing making where as the girl left of her, could probably overtake her simply by using some well-placed make-up.

What I would like to know is what makes a woman naturally attractive without any artificial enhancements. I mean, it can't be the same as for man, otherwise the best looking man would also be the best looking woman.

You're the only one who was honest with me during my rating and gave me a 5 because of my weight. I was so thankful, I lost 80lbs. It's better to be honest about how you really look. My whole life people were lying to me, saying I was attractive and never said to lose weight except my mom she always told me to lose weight and fix my skin.

Also as a 7, I can easily say that you can be a 6 or an 8, depending on whether the girl is into your phenotype. If you're a 7 with an undesirable phenotype girls will see as a 6 but with a desirable phenotype + good height/body you can be an 8. True 8s are giga rare irl.
