I saw Santana in the 1980's at the Albert Hall as a 15 year old.. Me & a couple of friends had tickets to the first of two of their shows that day/night. Needless to say we were blown away, so we hid in the bathroom stalls in the changeover & watched it all over again. He was playing three hour sets at that time so we had close to six hours of Santana live in one day. We would have done it all over again if we had the chance. He changed the set around for the second show, like it was just for us.
Considering how high energy their show was, playing that long was an amazing act of stamina on their part.

I was standing right in front of the stage, also high on acid. Santana was unbelievable. We'd never heard anything so amazing. The vast majority of us had never even heard of these people before.
