In the legendary summer of 1969, the iconic Woodstock Music Festival was in full swing, an electrifying celebration of rock music and the counterculture movement. Among the sea of hippies and music enthusiasts, two rock legends, Carlos Santana and Jerry Garcia, found themselves drawn together by their shared passion for music and a curiosity for life's spiritual journey. As the sun began to set and the aroma of incense filled the air, they decided to embark on a psychedelic adventure, choosing to take acid together.

Under the starlit sky, Carlos Santana's nimble fingers danced on his guitar strings, sending enchanting melodies into the universe. Jerry Garcia's soulful voice joined in, creating a harmonious fusion of rock and improvisational magic. The crowd swayed and danced, their hearts soaring with the euphoria of the music and the psychedelic experience. The notes seemed to transcend the realm of sound, becoming a conduit for cosmic connections between the musicians, the audience, and the universe itself.

Amidst the kaleidoscope of colors and the swirling visuals of Woodstock's psychedelic atmosphere, Carlos and Jerry found themselves in a state of profound introspection. They delved into the depths of their minds, exploring the mysteries of existence and the interconnectedness of all beings. Time seemed to lose its meaning as they ventured through the highs and lows of their consciousness, discovering new layers of creativity and spirituality.

As the dawn approached, Carlos and Jerry emerged from their psychedelic odyssey with a newfound sense of unity and purpose. The experience had left an indelible mark on their souls, enriching their music with deeper meaning and authenticity. They knew that this transformative Woodstock moment would forever be etched in rock 'n' roll history, an emblematic representation of the power of music and the harmonious spirit of the hippie movement. With hearts full of gratitude, Carlos Santana and Jerry Garcia continued to spread their musical love, carrying the essence of Woodstock's psychedelic magic with them wherever they went.

It is impossible for Carlos to be on an LSD trip at that concert, he could not play any musical note with his guitar... that performance is one of the most extraordinary in the history of rock of all time...

LSD was the great mind awakener! So glad I used it! Owsley Stanley made most of the LSD back then and Bill Graham the promoter of The Dead and many other rock groups made it available at the concerts! God bless LSD! Or just take it and let it bless you.

He's exaggerating on top of exaggerating. He looks just fine during this live. His nemesis was that in the triple LP, he is followed by Jimi. And the comparison that inevitably is made by any listener causes loud laughter.

Playing music on LSD is pretty much impossible. Not sure how these guys managed it.
