The eBay seller hub has been suggesting all eBay stores add an eBay store video to welcome buyers to your store and tell them more about yourself and what you're selling. So, 31 days ago I added the eBay store video and today I'm sharing the data analytics and results to let you know if it was worth it. Got so excited to open YouTube and see that you just posted a new video one minute ago! Yay! Love your personality in videos. When I get bored or am cooking or cleaning, I'll scroll back through and choose a video from a year or so ago to play in the background. :)

I did buy my first 3 small book lots in the last two weeks for a total of $45. I've already sold close to $100 worth of books and have many bundles and individuals left! Of course my first sale was a Bible from 1933! They only take up one shelf on my rack and I'm happy to keep it to that quantity for now as I get my feet wet with books. It's been a fun learning experience so far.

Good job, Mel! I have 2 eBay accounts (not stores, though) and both have skyrocketed this month, too. It definitely pays to play around with ideas to get those sales. I can’t do sales coupons but I can lower prices slightly so watchers get notifications, and surprisingly, once that got some momentum, I increased my prices to record highs and the sales kept on coming. I have a very small book account and a seperate renewables account where I sell my own hand crafted supplies to other crafters. You can’t just sit back and complain about slow sales, you have to get in there and change things up a bit to get people buying. 👍😻

Great numbers Mel 🥰 My sales have been up 24%. No store or video here though. I just put mine down to more people turning to eBay to find what they need and hope to get a bargain now that a lot are feeling the pinch financially. That was my very unscientific theory 😂

The daily refinement guy says the YouTube channel doesn't help sales because when your Target is so random you need mass listings 100 per day

I did a video and this month my sales are up 53%, qty sold up 42%, impressions up 36%!

i agree I think its definitely about the bigger picture, If you are doing what eBay wants you to do and your keeping your account in good order then this has more chance of being pushed in the algorithm. Good luck for the continued sales and thanks for sharing Mel!!
