I have this cable but it is extremely unstable for me. It cuts out frequently and last night I resorted to using AirLink because it was somehow much more stable.

been having so much trouble with the cable recently. I thought i would keep it plugged into power and my pc all the time, but sometimes when I connect quest3 (v59), it wouldn't indicate that it started charging, sometimes adb wouldn't connect (no debug or link prompt - just charging chime). A simple Usb cable works on same PC ports. IDK what im doing wrong. tried connecting without powering the cable, tried powering it after connecting to pc and quest. i think i tried all the combinations and it still doesn't work

Hello Sebastian, have you actually tested this? Have you gone a straight 8 hours lets say and still not running out of power? For this cable MAKE SURE YOU USE A POWER BRICK THAT SUPPORTS PD (Power Delivery). The regular quest 3 power brick won't cut it. With a power delivery brick, it will be able to keep charge for as long as you want.

Where's a bitrate test im not going to just trust your word i've been thru a few cables and neither could keep up with the quest 3 charge rate the last one claimed to be USB-3 but was slower than USB-2.

I found my cable wasn't working. I was using the provided quest 3 charger which doesn't work. Using a Macbook usbc charger 30w and it works like a charm. You need a charger powerful enough for this to work.

I wish the youtubers would go through higher testing to actually help people they do fastest way to make content. Doesnt matter what plugs in link it wont keep up charge you have to have your headset in a power bank which is min 45 watts or have a wall and get a 16 foot cord or 20 foot cord and plug that into the wall instead and use steam link or virtual desktop oculus link is still outdated and i prefer the looks of my headset on virtual desktop if im using full body tracking. If im just watching mlvies or doing kther cool stuff withkut fullbodh tracking i do steam link.

Good cable when it works. I don't know if that's an issue with Quest 3 or this cable, but one day I'd turn on PC and it sees Quest 3 right away, other times I need to reboot, reconnect many times before my PC sees my Quest with this cable. (edit: after some more use: on many occasions it disconnects saying there is water or debris in the socket - c''mon I live in the UK, but it's not raining that much that I'd have water in my house all around). It charges while PCVR! This makes this cable a must-have! Is it OK for Quest3's battery? I don't want it to explode while wearing the headset 😂

Do note that this cable's bandwidth is only 2.3 Gbps, while Meta's official one is 5 Gbps. Though Quest 3 may not drain the full 5 Gbps bandwidth, 2.3 Gbps is pretty dangerous and may lead to lose of graphic quality

I am upgrading from the Oculus Rift S to the Quest 3 but as a PC player I am surprised to find out that the Quest 3 cannot function like the rift s meaning that I would still have to charge the Quest 3 headset which is disappointing. I was thinking of always using it in wired mode but I'm seeing so many things that say that the Quest 3 blocks many features and also refresh rate in linked mode to my PC.
